Rese, being the best sister ever, found a groupon for a “tea experience” in downtown. My sister and I both love British culture and a good deal, thus spending an afternoon sipping tea sounded delightful.
Let me walk you through our experience!

We stepped into the shop with a nice surprise of how white, gold, and bright this shop was. There were a handful of tables open and the hosts quickly greeted us and explained their recent opening. We chose a table and sat down. The cake rack on the table was traded in for a menu. We both chose Earl Grey tea.

The host returned with the cake rack now filled with some tea sized sncks. This included a small cream cheese & dill sandwich on white sliced bread, two quarter sized cookies (one was pretty tasty and one was pretty stale), a thin scone, and a mini cupcake. This left us desiring more… other tea establishments have been more filling with more options and decadent treats.

The tea was looseleaf and served per person. We were given a cute tea kettle of hot water and an hourglass timer for seeping time.

My favorite aspect of the tea shop was the ambience. The decorations were gorgeous, and provided a modern yet classic aspect to this tea room. The tea shop’s decoration was focused primarily on one hue, gold.

The groupon was $19 for two people, original value being $32. She had a discount code, bringing the groupon down to $9, thankfully. We each received one cup of tea , a small cream cheese & dill sandwich on white sliced bread, two quarter sized cookies (one was pretty tasty and one was pretty stale), a thin scone, and a mini cupcake. This left us desiring more… other tea establishments have been more filling with larger options and decadent treats.
